The organization Together Against Solitude approached us in 2020 with a request for cooperation and that they would like to start their own Club of Fairy Tale Reading Grandmothers and Grandfathers in Teplice. We were happy to provide them with our knowledge so that they could start the club and continue to run it themselves. We then met with our colleagues in Teplice at joint meetings where we exchanged knowledge and experience.
Together Against Solitude will unfortunately no longer be involved in volunteer activities, so they suggested that we take over the club in Teplice. We gladly agreed, because their club in Teplice is working wonderfully and has 7 great reading grandmothers.
We also visited Teplice, where the chairman of the organization, Robert Zauer, took very good care of us and prepared a meeting with kindergartens and grandmothers. We really enjoyed our time together and immediately introduced the grandmothers to their new local coordinator, our new colleague Vendula Váňová. So we would like to introduce to you the new Grandmothers and Grandfathers Fairy Tale Reading Club in Teplice.
